Workplace Violence – Things You Should Know to Help Prepare Your Business and Your Employees

In this highly interactive program will delve into what your Emergency Action Plan should include to address various types of workplace violence.  We'll discuss the importance of a presence of mind and to have a plan in advance, including what information to have ready when calling 911.  Specific topics covered will include:   Employee Arguments, Domestic Violence Situations, Active Shooters and Crimes to Individuals such as robberies.

OUR SPEAKER - CHRIS MARCIANO

Chris Marciano, owner of Prepare to Act,  has been with the Watertown Police Department since August of 1997.  He spent the first eleven years of his career assigned to the patrol division.  In 2008 he had the opportunity to expand his experience by being assigned to a specialty unit under the auspices of the Connecticut State Police.  During this assignment he was promoted to the rank of Detective within the Watertown Police Department.  In April of 2011, after two and a half years assigned with the State Police, he returned to the Investigative Services unit.   In April of 2015 Chris was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and is currently assigned to the patrol division.

Chris has been a certified EMT since the summer of 1993 and currently holds a certification with the State of Connecticut as an Emergency Medical Services Instructor.
