HOW TO USE MARKETING LESSONS TO REACH YOUR EMPLOYEES
This event is sponsored by Willis Towers Watson

We live in a world of mass customization – consider the Amazon experience. You can use the lessons learned in the marketing arena to more effectively reach your organization's critical market - your employees. Marketers create a strategic plan for winning customers. How does seeing your employees as customers help you change behaviors and achieve your objectives? Would a strategy help?

The marketing world also provides great examples of how using words and images consistently over a long period of time increases understanding, improves recall and helps bring about the desired actions. Do you use your external corporate branding and messaging effectively and consistently to support internal initiatives? Why is that important and how do you get started?

Some employees feel bombarded with "too many emails," and others, such as remote workers or those without email access, believe that "no one knows I'm here." So how do you achieve the right balance? How do we ensure every employee receives the same message?

Marketers have a wealth of information about the buying habits of their customers. What do you know about how your employees "buy and consume" their benefits and other initiatives your company offers - and why does it matter?

Key Learning Objectives from this Session:

  • Leverage your corporate branding to promote internal initiatives and tie them to your company's mission

  • Identify challenges to overcome, such as hard-to-reach employees

  • Consider marketing techniques to adapt or adopt, such as how to create targeted communications with limited time

  • Review communication examples and applicability to your workforce.
