CAREER FOCUS - EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEIR CAREERS
Lee Hecht Harrison’s CAREERFOCUS® program is designed to empower individuals to take charge of their careers and professional development. To guide individuals through this journey, LHH developed a proven and strategic roadmap incorporating five key elements to help them align their talents and aspirations with essential skills needed by the organization.
Participants learn a proven and strategic framework for managing their career and professional development; learn how to leverage their strengths, increase their skill and contribution, build a powerful network, find a mentor, set development goals, and build development plans that are aligned with the needs of the organization.
In addition, we will explore the changing landscape of today’s work environment and address key questions that HR professionals should be asking:
o How can I increase my contribution today?
o What do I need to learn to stay competitive?
o Where do I best fit in the future given my strengths and interests?
o What are major industry and professional trends and the implications for my future?
A few of the Key Learning Objectives of the morning will be:
· Understand how to take charge of your career.
· Gain insights into your interests, strengths, and development areas.
· Learn the power of your personal brand and support network.
· Discover the skills you need to stay marketable based on workplace trends.
· Recognize different career options and paths you can take.
· Clarify your short and long-term goals and aspirations.
· Put a plan in place to accelerate your career development.
