Webinar:  Preventing Workplace Harassment and Discrimination

A positive work environment free from harassment and discrimination is required by law and necessary for the health and continued success of your business. This presentation introduces the basic awareness, concepts and laws associated with managing harassment and discrimination in the workplace. Participants will learn about the legal and ethical reasons for avoiding discrimination and harassment in the workplace, including training on the various types of harassment prohibited by law and policy (e.g., race, gender, disability, etc.). Katherin will discuss how to properly respond to employee concerns about harassment and discrimination and review retaliatory conduct. She will also go over the specific legislative requirements in Connecticut, providing an update on recent changes, to ensure you have a good understanding of what is mandated.
