WEBINAR: Courageous Workplace Conversations Part 2: The Dignity Model
Many thanks to our sponsor: ACG Resources
Most people know very little about dignity and often rely on the concept
of respect. While respect takes time to be earned, extending dignity is
an immediate human imperative. When dignity is not honored, conflict
and distrust can ensue. There are three components of leading with
dignity: what one must know in order to honor dignity and avoid
violating it; what one must do to lead with dignity; and how one can
create a culture of dignity within your team. When the model of dignity
is infused within the culture it improves relationships and makes
stronger teams. After this session, managers will have the tools to
foster and exercise a “dignity consciousness” with their teams.
Implementing dignity elements in their communication and management of
their teams will not only help to manage conversations around race and
societal tensions with their employees it will also improve the culture
of trust and communication within their teams.
This program session is designed for participants to learn what leaders can do right now to create a team culture in which everyone thrives.
HRACC will once again donate 100%
of the fees collected for this event to the Urban League of Greater Hartford, in support of their mission to reduce economic
